Bobó Gomes Có is a distinguished African leader, organizational strategist, executive consultant, and servant-leadership practitioner with more than thirty years of experience leading faith-based organizations, nonprofit institutions, and leadership development initiatives throughout Africa and internationally. His extensive career has been defined by a commitment to developing leaders, strengthening institutions, promoting peace, and advancing sustainable community transformation across diverse cultural and national contexts.Over the course of his career, Bobó has worked extensively throughout West, Southern, and Eastern Africa, supporting organizations in leadership development, governance, strategic planning, conflict resolution, fundraising, operational excellence, and institutional growth. His international experience extends beyond Africa, having travelled to more than eighty countries while building partnerships and facilitating leadership development initiatives that connect global expertise with local impact.Since 1996, Bobó has served as the Chief Executive Officer of LTFMI, providing strategic leadership to a faith-based nonprofit organization operating across several African countries and Brazil. In this role, he has led organizational growth, developed leadership capacity, strengthened governance systems, and championed initiatives that empower communities through education, leadership training, and sustainable development.Between 2009 and 2014, he served as the Regional International Director for Southern and Eastern Africa at Trans World Radio (TWR International), where he provided executive oversight for regional operations, communication strategies, organizational growth, and leadership development across multiple countries. His leadership contributed significantly to expanding the organization's regional effectiveness and strengthening collaboration among diverse teams.From 2014 to 2015, Bobó served as the Executive International Director for Africa at BEF, a Swiss-funded leadership development organization dedicated to equipping leaders throughout the continent. During this period, he guided strategic initiatives focused on servant leadership, organizational excellence, and sustainable institutional development across numerous African nations.Throughout his professional journey, Bobó has also served in several influential leadership positions, including President of the Evangelical Alliance of Guinea-Bissau, AEA North and West Regional President, Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Bridge, and adviser to national leadership. These responsibilities reflect the confidence that governments, churches, and international organizations have placed in his leadership, wisdom, and strategic vision.One of Bobó's greatest passions has been leadership development. Over the past three decades, he has trained and mentored more than 400 leaders who now serve churches, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community institutions throughout Africa. His work has equipped leaders with practical skills in governance, organizational management, servant leadership, strategic planning, and institutional sustainability.In addition to organizational leadership, Bobó is widely recognized for his expertise in conflict resolution, an area in which he has worked for more than fifteen years. He has contributed to reconciliation initiatives involving civil society organizations, religious leaders, business communities, and public institutions, particularly in Guinea-Bissau, while also publishing articles and providing consultancy services on leadership and peacebuilding.Bobó earned a Master of Arts in Management and Organizational Leadership in 2015 through Development Associates International (USA) in collaboration with the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt.
