Dr. HSU Lung-Chang is an accomplished international leader, educator, and interfaith practitioner with over two decades of experience in promoting peace, justice, human dignity, and cross-cultural cooperation across Asia. Born on September 24, 1973, in Taiwan, he has dedicated his professional life to fostering dialogue, strengthening international partnerships, and advancing humanitarian and community development initiatives.

Dr. HSU earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Everlasting University, where he further developed his commitment to ethical leadership, education, and global engagement.

Since 2000, Dr. HSU has been actively involved in interfaith dialogue and cooperation, working with faith leaders and organizations to promote mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, and collaborative action for the common good.

From 2008 to 2010, he served as an English Teacher in Taiwan, contributing to educational development and cross-cultural communication through language instruction.

Between 2010 and 2016, Dr. HSU served as Associate Director of Stack Company in Beijing, China, where he provided strategic leadership, coordinated international partnerships, and strengthened organizational development across diverse sectors.

Since 2017, he has served as Coordinator of the Livingston Foundation, overseeing humanitarian and community development programs, facilitating strategic partnerships, and supporting initiatives that improve the lives of vulnerable communities through education, leadership development, and social engagement.

Dr. HSU is widely recognized for his integrity, diplomatic approach, and commitment to building bridges among governments, faith communities, civil society organizations, and international partners. His experience in leadership, project coordination, education, and intercultural engagement uniquely equips him to advance initiatives that promote peace, justice, and sustainable development throughout the region.

Appointment

In recognition of his outstanding leadership, integrity, and extensive experience in international cooperation, Dr. HSU Lung-Chang is appointed as the Representative and Director of the Pan African Faith Leaders Initiative for Peace, Justice and Human Dignity (PAFLI) for China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Cambodia.

In this capacity, he is entrusted with representing PAFLI, establishing strategic partnerships with governments, faith communities, academic institutions, development organizations, and the private sector, while advancing the organization’s mission of promoting peace, justice, reconciliation, human dignity, sustainable development, humanitarian cooperation, and intercultural dialogue throughout the region.

His appointment reflects PAFLI’s confidence in his ability to strengthen international collaboration between Africa and Asia and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of peace and human dignity through faith-inspired leadership and practical action
