The Pan African Faith Leaders Initiative for Peace, Justice and Human Dignity (PAFLI) is a continental faith-based organization that brings together faith leaders, religious institutions, communities, and partners across Africa to promote peace, justice, human rights, reconciliation, and human dignity.
Founded in Rwanda and operating with a Pan-African vision, PAFLI serves as a platform for collaboration, advocacy, capacity building, research, and community engagement aimed at creating peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous societies.
We believe that faith leaders have a unique responsibility and opportunity to influence positive change, strengthen social cohesion, and contribute to sustainable development throughout Africa and beyond.
PAFLI is established with a continental vision and operates across Africa through national chapters, country representatives, faith leaders, and strategic partnerships.
Each country branch is established and registered according to the legal requirements of the respective country while remaining aligned with the mission and vision of the Pan African Faith Leaders Initiative.
We facilitate dialogue, mediation, and community engagement initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence and social cohesion while combating division, discrimination, and hatred.
We build the capacity of faith leaders to address conflicts, injustice, and human suffering while promoting peace, justice, and human dignity.
We advocate for human rights, equality, religious freedom, and access to justice through partnerships and policy engagement.
We support faith leaders and communities through knowledge sharing, leadership development, and international cooperation for sustainable peace and development.
The Pan African Faith Leaders Initiative for Peace, Justice and Human Dignity (PAFLI) works across Africa to mobilize faith leaders, strengthen communities, and build partnerships that promote peace, justice, human rights, and human dignity.
